Tour Itinerary

Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Curtin Springs Station, Kings Canyon, Palm Valley, Redbank Gorge. Get away from the crowds and take to the tracks on this unique outback holiday. Experience the outback the authentic way - get off the bitumen and on to dirt roads. This 4WD adventure allows you to cut through cattle stations to outback icons such as Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Watarrka in a small group, allowing the freedom to explore some remote areas. By night, settle down in your bush camp, cook over a campfire and sleep under the vast, starry sky.

Day 1 Alice Springs
Our Central Explorer adventure begins in the isolated town of Alice Springs. This outback settlement is the perfect gateway to the Australian desert.

Day 2 Uluru
Leaving Alice early we head to nature's icon of Australia, Uluru, pausing en route for an optional camel ride! We explore the base of this magnificent monolith and visit the cultural centre to learn about the Tjukurpa (Aboriginal law). Climbing the rock is an option, before our day ends with a memorable desert sunset over Uluru.

Day 3 Kata Tjuta
Start the day watching the sun rise over Uluru before we head to Kata Tjuta for an 8km hike through the Valley of the Winds. In the afternoon, visit the Curtin Springs Cattle Station before setting up our bush camp. Enjoy a campfire dinner before sleeping under the stars!

Day 4 King's Creek Station
It is time to hit the bush tracks that make this trip truly unique. We travel north to the King's Creek Station, where you'll get the chance to hop on a quad bike to explore the property on a sunset tour.

Day 5 Watarrka
Visit Watarrka, formerly known as King's Canyon, to enjoy an 8 km rim walk, followed by a cooling swim in the tranquil Garden of Eden rock pool. Return to the track and head to our last night's bush camp at Palm Valley.

Days 6-7 Alice Springs
Hike along the old Finke River and discover Redbank Gorge, a spectacular secret of Central Australia. Spend the day exploring, swimming and relaxing before returning to Alice Springs where our adventure draws to an end.

Included Highlights
Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)
