Day 1 Recife
Day 2, 3 Recife / Olinda
Nicknamed the "Venice of Brazil" for being a city built over
water, Recife actually gets its name from the vast array of coral reefs
that stretch along its vibrant coast. The nearby colonial town of Olinda
is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its cultural traditions, beautiful
architecture, artwork and festivals. With a history of over 100 shipwrecks
in the area, there are plentiful diving opportunities to explore some
of these wrecks, which are sure to impress any underwater enthusiast.
Day 4, 5 Praia de Pipa
Travel north up the coast to the stunning Praia de Pipa. Known for its
beautiful beaches and relaxing atmosphere. Besides lounging on the beach
there are a myriad of outdoor activities to keep you busy. Options include
diving, surfing, boating, turtle/dolphin watching, visiting the Ecological
Shrine, and enjoying the colourful nightlife!

Enjoy fantastic, scenic views of the countryside on this full day of travel
north to Fortaleza via Natal.
Day 7, 8 Fortaleza
Fortaleza is a beautiful Brazilian city both on land, and under the shoreline
waters. Dive to cargo shipwrecks, oil tankers, planes, or a German submarine,
while at the same time swimming with sting rays, barracudas, and lots
of lobster. Be sure to experience some of the Forró music that
exemplifies the true spirit of the area.
