Brisbane, Sunshine Coast hinterland excursion,
Fraser Island 4WD adventure, cattle station farmstay, tropical beach paradises,
Great Barrier Reef, Cairns. Combining rugged adventure and beachside recreation,
this is tropical Queensland at its very best! This fantastic trip offers
the perfect balance of rural and beach time, action and relaxation, coastal
hotspots and out-of-the-way gems! Join us and be amazed by the diversity
of Queensland, from quaint hinterland villages to beach resorts and rainforest
retreats to island stays. We do and see it all in two truly spectacular
weeks.
Day 1 Brisbane
Fresh-faced and green, Queensland's capital 'Brissie' provides a warm
welcome and is the perfect place from which to explore Australia's north.
Day 2 Hervey Bay
Leaving the city behind we travel towards the stunning Sunshine Coast
Hinterland, Eumundi village market, the Valley Rattler steam train and
Hervey Bay.
Days 3-4 Fraser Island
Teeming with bird and animal life, washed up shipwrecks and the occasional
remote settlement, Fraser Island, the world's largest sand island, is
a nature lovers' paradise.
Days 5-6 Rockhampton
Primary production is the Australian way and we experience the best of
life on an outback cattle station. This farmstay offers a great insight
into rural Australia and the opportunity to learn how to lasso a calf
and crack a whip!
Days 7-8 Airlie Beach /
Whitsundays
Continue along the Capricorn Coast to Airlie Beach, gateway to the idyllic
Whitsunday Islands. Take time for rest and relaxation and enjoy a trip
to the idyllic islands.
Days 9-10 Mission Beach
This beautiful laid-back beach is surrounded by the Wet Tropics World
Heritage Area. Enjoy the beach, retreat to the sanctuary of our rainforest
cabins or take on canoeing and horseriding.
Days 11-13 Cairns / Rainforest
Day Trip
Journey on to Cairns, the heart of lush far north Queensland. Enjoy a
day trip to enjoy our luscious rainforest. Celebrate the trip with a last
night out on the town.
