Brisbane, Byron Bay, northern NSW hinterland,
Hunter Valley wineries, Hawkesbury River, sheep station farmstay, World
Heritage national parks, Myall Lakes National Park, Coastal NSW, Sydney.
Year round travellers will love this trip for its mix of iconic sights,
off the beaten path gems and Pacific coast pleasures.
Join us and enjoy relaxing in the alternative life-style towns of Byron
Bay and Bellingen, hinterland National Parks, a 'true-blue' Aussie sheep
station experience, winery touring and tasting by mountain bike, and magnificent
Sydney. A trip to remember!
Day 1 Brisbane
We begin our adventure in Brisbane, Queensland's capital. Hit the shops,
stroll the gardens or take in the burgeoning cafe culture in this increasingly
cosmopolitan city.
Days 2-3 Byron Bay
Byron Bay is mainland Australia's most easterly point and it doesn't get
much better than this. Kick back and soak up the atmosphere of this alluring
town and its surrounds, just the perfect place to relax.
Day 4 Northern NSW Hinterlands
Bellingen, alternative-lifestyle township and start of the scenic Waterfall
Way that leads us through several heritage-listed national parks via waterfalls,
spectacular gorges and a rainforest 'skywalk'.
Days 5-6 New England Farmstay
There is no better way to experience rural Australia than a farm homestay.
Join in farm chores, learn to shear a sheep and bunk down as the station
hands do. Be prepared to get dirty!
Day 7 Myall Lakes
Travel to the East Coast where sand dunes, beaches, lakes and forest meet.
Days 8-9 Hunter Valley
Hunter Valley wineries here we come! Touring by mountain bike gives a
great perspective on the area and cellar door tastings are the best way
to sample its produce.
Days 10-12 Sydney
As far as cities go, Sydney has it all; beautiful parks, beaches, bustling
night-life, shopping, museums and the jewel in its crown - Sydney Harbour.
It's here that we end our adventure.
