Cairo, pyramids, Nile River, Aswan, Felucca trip, Valley of the Kings
Enjoy a taste of Egypt's history, beauty and colour. Magnificent pyramids,
ancient temples, vibrant Nubian culture, museums and the majestic Nile
all come together in this fabulous introduction to Egypt. We'll sail the
Nile, see the largest and most impressive temples, hang out with the locals
and just have fun!
Day 1, 2 Cairo
Wonderfully chaotic and colourful, Cairo is a fascinating place to start
our journey. Take in one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the
amazing pyramids, as well as the Sphinx.
Day 3-5 Aswan
Explore Aswan's markets and visit imposing Abu Simbel. A traditional lunch
and a glimpse into the fascinating Nubian culture awaits us before boarding
a felucca for a magical sail on the Nile.
Day 6, 7 Luxor
The superb temple of Karnak and the tombs in the Valley of the Kings are
just a sample of Luxor's treasures. Take a donkey or camel ride in true
nomadic style or relax and take in a sunset over the Nile.
Day 8 Cairo
Returning to Cairo early in the morning we finish our tour after breakfast.
