History, beaches, fantasic scenery, Straight of Gibraltar. The Andalucia region of Spain is incredibly interesting and diverse. Southern Spain is home to not only beautiful scenery and beaches, but also to a fascinating history and interesting local culture. Islam’s presence lasted much longer here than anywhere else in Spain, and is clearly evident in the architecture and local culture. The home of Flamenco and the birthplace of the guitar, Andalucia boasts a captivating artistic tradition as well as some of Spain’s most lively nightlife! Our adventure includes visits to the Costa de la Luz, a gorgeous stretch of beach on the Atlantic coast which is much less developed than the nearby Costa del Sol; The Straight of Gibraltar, where Europe and Africa are a mere 15 km apart; and Ronda, famous for its incredible gorge and surrounding scenery. Visit a bullfight in Seville, windsurf in Tarifa, or visit the museums of Cadiz.

Day 1 Arrive Malaga

Day 2 Ronda
We enjoy a bus ride to the White Hills and the town of Ronda, famous for its 100m deep gorge that splits the town into two. Explore and relax, while enjoying the beautiful natural beauty of the area.

Day 3 Linea de la Concepción / Gibraltar
We move on to La Línea de la Concepción, which serves as a jumping-off point to Gibraltar, the curious and beautiful British colony.

Day 4, 5 Tarifa / Costa de la Luz
Continuing on we arrive at the fabulous Costa de la Luz and the town of Tarifa. Taking a break from urban life, spend your time relaxing on the beach, take part in some watersports, whale watching, or visit the local castle. We include a day trip to Northern Africa on Day 5.

Day 6 Cadiz
We travel up the Costa de la Luz to Cadiz, considered by some to be the oldest city in Europe. Explore the museums, wander the city and soak up the local atmosphere.

Day 7 Seville
A short bus ride brings us to the exciting city of Seville, with a fun-loving atmosphere and a fascinating history. Visit the Alcázar fortress, see Columbus’ tomb or simply wander the city’s lively streets.

Day 8 Malaga
We head back to Malaga where you’ll have time to explore or take another trip to the beach.
