Bangkok, islands, beaches, snorkelling. Indulge
in the treasures of southern Thailand. Imagine snorkelling warm,
turquoise waters with flourishing coral reefs and abundant colourful marine
life, lazing on dazzling white sandy beaches with coconut palms swaying
in the gentle breeze and laying back under a night sky of glittering stars.
These are just some of the pleasures of southern Thailand.
Days1, 2 Bangkok
Travel to Wat Arun, 'The Temple of Dawn', and take the chance to visit
Wat Pho and its famous reclining Buddha. Take time to learn about traditional
Thai medicine or enjoy the attractions of the city.
EAST COAST: Day 3, 4 Koh Pha Ngan
Relax at our seaside bungalows, trek to waterfalls and take a boat ride
around the island to explore the pristine beaches.
Day 5,6 Koh Tao
Snorkelling or walking around this island paradise, see as much or as
little as you'd like. Its spectacular coral reefs keep the divers and
swimmers happy, while beach lovers can relax on shore.
Day 7-9 Koh Samui
A more cosmopolitan island than the others, step out in the evening to
enjoy the nightlife and fill the days with walks on the beach, plenty
of shopping and the 'Big Buddha'.
WEST COAST: Day 3, 4 Koh Kho Khao
A longtail boat to a beautiful beach is our setting for a BBQ lunch, with
the rest of the time spent relaxing on beautiful beaches or snorkelling.
Day 5, 6 Koh Yao Noi
Take a day trip around Phang Nga Bay to see the scenic limestone cliffs
and islands. There's enough free time to meet the locals or try cycling
around the island itself.
Day 7-9 Phuket
One of the top 10 destinations in Thailand, Phuket is a whirlwind of nightlife,
endless stretches of white sand, hiking trails and plantations. There
is plenty to see and do here on Thailand's largest and most visited island.
