Capture the spirit of Vietnam in this compact adventure. From vibrant
Hanoi, the natural wonders of Halong Bay and the charms of Hoi An to the
atmospheric imperial capital of Hue and effervescent Ho Chi Minh City,
this is the perfect introduction to the major highlights of this wonderful
country.
Day 1 Hanoi
The adventure begins in Hanoi, the delightful capital of Vietnam. Wander
the tree-lined boulevards, relax by the city's lakes, explore the streets
of the Old Quarter or indulge in the delights of Vietnamese coffee.
Day 2, 3 Halong Bay
Magical Halong Bay is breathtaking with over 3,000 limestone islands rising
from the emerald waters of the Bac Bo Gulf. Amid this magnificent scenery
we take a boat cruise, highlighted by an incredible seafood feast.
Day 4, 5 Hue
The former Imperial capital of Hue is a relaxed city. Renowned for the
magnificent architecture of its citadel, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas
and temples built under the Nguyen dynasty, it lies on the banks of the
Perfume River.
Day 6, 7 Hoi An
Once one of South East Asia's most important international trading ports,
today World Heritage Hoi An offers delicious Vietnamese cuisine, historic
architecture and narrow laneways lined with tailors and fine art galleries.
Day 8-10 Ho Chi Minh City
This dynamic city is where old meets new, as ancient pagodas mingle with
French influenced cafes, colourful markets and emotive museums. The infamous
Cu Chi Tunnels offer insight into the underground lives of the Viet Cong.
