This walking tour of southwestern Ireland is rich in local culture and tradition. Lose yourself in the breathtaking scenery and unique rugged landscapes and learn about the history and background of this welcoming culture.

Day 1 Arrive Killarney

Day 2 Killarney National Park
Enjoy some leisurely walking through Killarney National Park, surrounded by vast mountains, lakes, oak forests and waterfalls. We visit Muckross Estate, with its spectacular gardens, traditional 19th century farmhouses, and nearby Muckross Abbey.

Day 3, 4 Killarney / Gap of Dunloe / Torc
Using Killarney as our base we start a scenic hike from the Gap of Dunloe, a v-shaped valley surrounded by Ireland’s highest mountains. Our hike ends in the Brida Valley, as we enjoy rolling hills and pristine mountain lakes. We will also visit Torc waterfall, nestled deep in the woods before continuing on to Gowlane Cross.

Day 5, 6 Annascaul / Dingle Penninsula
Annascaul is our new base as we explore the westernmost tip of Ireland, where rugged coastlines meet towering cliffs at the Dingle Peninsula. A beautiful coastal walk along Inch Beach will lead us through some remarkable landscapes, taking us along the scenic Dingle Way from Annascaul to the village of Camp.

Day 7 Annascaul Lake
Today we take a circular walk around the Annascaul Lake region before enjoying a farewell dinner of local Irish cuisine.

Day 8 Depart Tralee
Departure day – enjoy breakfast in Annascaul before we transfer to Tralee.
